Once done, she sits, and she waits
For dinner, to be delivered to her
Expectantly, laid out, upon her plate

Poor Mercedes, the dinner was late
She needed something that tasted great
Had a crazy idea
Kicked it into high gear
Served him fried cotton balls, on a plate
