Sparks, of rhythmic fires, fly
Brightly burns and lights the sky
She is magic, a powerful flame
The moonlit night, is her domain
Barren lands lay wasted where
She walks upon, without a care
And leaves her mark, this earth to claim
A fiery being, of unearthly fame

I want to watch the moonlight
Fall gently across your face
I want to feel your gentle touch
As your fingers softly trace
These feelings that surround me
The warmth, I feel inside
The joyfulness, around me
Where safely, I abide
Wrapped within your arms
From night until we wake
Sated forever, and always
With the love our body’s make

I am weary
Growing tired of the day
Awaiting, the night
Longing
For darkness, the Milky Way
My mind, emptying
Of daily matters
Weighing on my heart
My thoughts, scatter
And yet, I am alive
Wishing on the stars
Gathering the light
It awakens me
Ebony splendor
Surrounding my soul
Taking me places
Tis where I am whole

And watch the raindrops fall
I can watch the eagle fly
Yet daydream, that’s my call
Still, I’d rather follow moonlight
For where I go, it knows
Far away, into my own world

Soft as velvet, blackened night
Luminous orb through shadows bright
Full in wonder, shining bright
Mesmerize us with celestial light
Illuminate the darkened sky
As the clouds go slowly drifting by
Enticing us from way up high
You captivate and mystify
Seducing us with golden splendor
To you, alas, we must surrender
Luna, Goddess of the Moon
With you, we are at last, attune
