She struck with a fervor, like a derailed train
Took with her, everything, all she could claim
Lashed out at those, for staying behind
Wondering if they had all lost their mind
Warnings aplenty, where this girl would land
Seems she had it quite carefully planned
Landfall would only cause her to stall
So she stayed upon water, embracing the wall
Of funnel spouts spewing, and wind shears galore
Something so ominous, what was in store?!
Slowly she churned, growing closer and then
Slamming into the mainland, again and again
Unleashing her peril, with all of her might
Keeping everyone fearful, throughout most the night
Until all was calm, not a sound could be heard
Caught in the eye of the storm, where chaos is stirred
