Under a bridge, in the forest deep

Lives a creature, in his earthen keep

When sun shines bright upon the day

It’s a promise that he’ll stay away

For if he looks, it has been known

He will surely turn to stone

But when moonlight shows about this place

That is when you’ll see his face

A mythical creature, you cannot cajole

For he is the forest’s menacing troll

My spirit soars in the whispering breeze

And calms my soul, among forest and trees

The rustle of leaves as they try to take flight

Reaching up to the sky full of heavenly light

Surrounds me with comfort, one with the air

Awaiting the moment, feeling you there

Capturing my heart, once again, as you go

The wind, and my feelings, the ebb and the flow

The sky roars, clouds bellow their call

Looking up, I can watch the raindrops fall

Splashing my face and blurring my eyes

Is this how it feels to be one with the skies?

Letting the water caress my skin

Drinking in all of the power within

One single drop, as it touches my soul

Lifting my body, taking control

Forever to fly through life’s little storms

Finding my peace, in the rain, I transform

Sail upon the velvet clouds

Feel the ocean’s rousing rush

Get lost in fields of lavender

Hear the forest’s gentle hush

Breathe in air of scented pine

Climb the rocks and reach the sky

Wrap yourself in magnificence

Listen, as your senses sigh
