She is

Blended with earth

The soil of the land

Betwixt the trees

And barren branches

Eyes of nature

Watching, adoring

November Lullaby

I stumbled upon you

Huddled, under the

Fragrant air of autumn

Chilled, from the frost

Of November’s morn

Beauty, frozen in time

You called to me

Soft, sweet melodies

Of voices intertwined

A chorus, in harmony

With the earth below

And the sky above

A lullaby, singing,

Of winter’s approach

I shall gaze upon the sky
Memorized by light
Watch it slowly disappear
Three shadows in the night

Yellow fades to darkness
Changing into red
Three orbs, a visual spectacle

Earth, Moon and Sun
Together are bled
Aligned, a Heavenly festival

She lies in the silence
Of an underground world
Skillfully Weaving, Sowing

Reaching up with quiet grace
She lifts the trodden earth
Nourishing Ground, Growing

With the touch of her hand
She’s the essence of life
Eternally Nurturing, Knowing

With beauty she feeds us
From roots underneath us
Mother Earth, Loving, Bestowing

We can Build a Greener Earth

Plant a Tree and give it Birth

Water its Roots, Watch it Grow

Branches budding, from Soil below

Let it Rise above the Sky

Kiss the Clouds as they Roll by

Simply with the Touch of your Hand

As Mother Earth so Lovingly Planned
