She tried to play the comedienne

When her writing, she forgot, again

Gave teacher excuses

Blamed it on the Muses

Claiming their words got stuck in her pen

Storms, tear apart lands

Like a tyrant, they murder

Destroying all hope

Hands, beginning pleasure

Let our fingers intertwine

Bodies pressed together

Sets the mood, now quite sublime

Momentum grows, much quicker

Sparks are flying, never shy

With bodies, ever slicker

Swells of rapture, quietly sigh

Memoirs penned, and leather bound

Knowledge held, without a sound

Changed the way she lived her life

Pages filled with angst and strife

She journeyed far, across the seas

Away from those, she’d never please

And wrote it down, to this, she’d tend

Every day, knowing, it could be the end

Of writing, as she knew the pages to be

Twas this, her milestone, that set her free
