Tiny swallow, spring has sprung

Winter says goodbye to thee

Flying high, above the leaves

Taking in, all you can see

Call to those who know you

And those you’ve yet to meet

Tiny swallow, spread your wings

Glide on sunbeams, fast and fleet

A place to loll away the hours

Basking in the shade or sun

Under canopies of emerald green

Until the light of day is done

A sanctuary, a hidden treasure

One to keep you safe and warm

A place you can call your very own

Protection, from approaching storms

I marvel how you build your home

Each piece so carefully interwoven

And soon I grasp, just why it is

The reason this branch was chosen
