A wanderer, on water’s edge

Where none can see what’s there

She is waiting for her gondolier

And she knows exactly where

He’ll arrive, the captain of his boat

Once a proud man, of the sea

As still the waters beckon him

Yes! His one true destiny

But she will not allow this

With her spirit, she will menace

And make him hers, forever more

For she is the Ghost of Venice
