Slumber Deep

It is quite surreal
Just how you feel
Drifting off to sleep
Catching yourself
Floating away
Into a slumber deep

Beginning to dream
Drowning out noise
Into much quieter spaces
Lifting you there
On gossamer wings
To very faraway places

Sailing along with
The moon and the stars
Deflecting the time that goes by
Wandering freely
Where no one can see thee
Lost in the blackening sky

Visions of days
Blending together
Willingly fain

Tell me a story
Of nights meant to be
Of devotion and madness
Happiness, sadness

Whispering free
Visions of nights

Saturn skies, starlit glow

Blazing skies afire

Birds in flight, waters flow

Visions to inspire

Take me on a magical ride

Filled with untold secrets

Take me to the realm you hide

The place where no one frequents

Let me open up the door

Unlock the treasures hidden

Let me show you so much more

In places once forbidden
