Beauty lies nestled, inside a book
Open the pages, and let’s have a look
Let her spill out, onto the ground
Watch as the fauna gather around
Do they know, who lies there sleeping?
Among the trees, tis her safe keeping
For she is the one, the only sprite
Who guards the gardens, day and night
So tired and weary, she rests her head
The ground below her, makes her bed
Trees making sure she is shaded from sight
Though we can imagination, in sheer delight
Fascination awaits us, quick! Turn the page
Into the magical realm, of this sweet forest sage

Spiraling around her, with undignified flair
Consuming her being, ingesting her air
It spoke not a word, just a hum of a voice
In a moment she knew, she had no other choice
She’ll succumb to the madness, held once at bay
Let the fires keep burning, she’s nothing to say
Spinning and swirling, her mind, in a daze
Trapping her, in its hypnotic haze

It’s funny how people see things
So differently than we
Imagine if we saw the same
How boring life would be
Nodding in agreement, no
Words would never rhyme
Sunrise, sunset, moonlight glow
It happens all the time
Never underestimate
Another’s endless thoughts
Listen closely, to their words
And trust, it’s not for naught
Discover where they come from
And what they need to say
See the world, through other’s eyes
Before it slips away
