She remembered so vividly

The calling of the wind

As it swept through her hair

With the whisper of a howl

Swirling about in rose scented air

Gathering thoughts in the breeze

Sharing secrets with her soul

Beautiful clouds float

In the summer skies above

Together as one

She curtsies to the light, from yonder sky

Deep in the woods, as the night floats by

Beckoning to her, she stands there, alone

A lyrical figure, bathed in moonstone

She’ll pirouette ’round flowers, on gentlest toes

This ballerina dances, wherever moonlight glows

With gentle summer kisses

And flora responds

Full moon rises, birds take flight

Perched, the owl guards the night

Raptor, over mountains high

Above the trees, below the sky

Still as the wind, motionless air

A statuette, a menacing stare

The mighty one, when day is done

He reigns, until the rising sun
