Edward was puzzled, he had no idea
Why his armor was turning and rusty
He’d polish it each day, until it shined
Now it was just dingy and crusty

Trying to figure out, where he went wrong
If he was using something he shouldn’t
Muddled and befuddled, it only got worse
He’d have to buy a new one, but he couldn’t

His honor as an ogre, was his golden shield
Seems he’d need to come up with a plan
Splashing orange paint, all over his pants
It turns out he’s a quite fancy man

None of the ogres ever questioned the why
And Edward surely wasn’t offering an explanation
He went about town, all decked out in his suit
Turning each day, into an orange celebration

Beware the sky, of sun’s last light
When the trolls come out to play
They vanish, into the ebony night
Tis then, you should stay away

Nighttime comes, and so they wake
There’s no chance to be turned to stone
You’ll feel them, as the ground does quake
Best to leave them, by themselves, alone

They’ll wander about the darkened land
You can bet they’re looking for trouble
For they seem to think they are so grand
Perhaps, I need to burst their bubble

Get them to think the day has passed
Lure them, into the bright of the sun
Stop them dead, their faces, aghast
I’ll do this each day, til there are none

They sneak around, always in cahoots

Slimy and scaly, those nightmarish newts

Down in the water or up in the trees

They wander about, to do as they please

Little dinosaurs, who should be extinct

Oh so far from it, as they slither and slink

Across the ground, to where you are standing

If you ignore them, they become quite demanding

As they wait for you, the innocent bystander

To blink, then they turn you, into a salamander

She disguised herself well, to the other race

Once a human child, now elegance and grace

The fairies had found her, alone, oh so tragic

Quick as could be, they performed their magic

Gathered around her, they danced with glee

Watched as she welcomed them, happily

No longer alone, this child and her plight

Her life had been changed, by many a sprite

Now they flutter about her, protected is she

A beautiful swan, tis what I wish to be

He lays out the mask, pitchfork and a rose
His plans for the night? Only he knows
What he has hiding, up his sleeve
Such devilish deeds, he does conceive

She comes through the door, tired and weary
The scene on the bed, makes it quite eerie
Afraid to get closer, she gasps, backs away
He’s standing behind her, ready to play

Whispered seduction, his breath on her face
Desirous thoughts, as their bodies embrace
Warming to him, she gives in for the night
Unveiling the secrets, of the Devil’s delight
