A rendezvous, in the ebony night
Nothing is hidden, illuminous sight
She sparkles in his shadow, his smile, a shine
In hopes she will come to him, this beauty, sublime
He beckons to her, she draws herself near
Yet she never quite stops, sailing by, in the clear
Of winter’s dark, she’s a tease in the sky
Moon longs for Venus, but she passes him by

I was a Jen once, but answer to Jaye these days… but as long as you don’t forget to call me for dinner, I’ll answer to anything!
