Sneaking up behind her, just as quietly as could be
Some gremlins come a ‘calling, for those cookies
They don’t want to scare her, so, patiently, they wait
Perhaps, she’ll notice them, or else it be too late
These little guys are hungry, she’s an impediment
Sweets are all they need, for a little nourishment
They have to grab the box, then safely get away
Hoping she won’t chase them, they don’t want to play
Still, she doesn’t see them, the closer they become
Almost there, not too much more, to steal a cookie crumb
No, they say, they want it all, of this they have no doubt
And so this ends the tale, of the gremlins and Girl Scout

Haha! I think Gremlins sneak into our kitchen & raid the cookie jar! I never knew I married Mr Cookie! 😂

Now I have a clearer idea of what happened to the Girl Guide cookie’s at my daughter’s house. She blamed it on her 7-year-old. Surely, it was the gremlins.

Of course it was. A 7-year-old would NEVER think to eat cookies! 😉
