Sweet dreams, child, as you snuggle close
Let the moon above, guide your visions
Forget about the day, gone by now
There’s no need to make any decisions
Drift away, and find a fantasy, created
Just for you, in your own hidden place
Get lost among the twinkling stars
Watch the midnight sun, in outer space
Sweet dreams, my child, for now you rest
Serenely sleep, as the night slips by
Cocooned next to me, against my chest
As I drift off, too, all is right, by and by

Awh, that reminds me of the time when my kids were little. Precious moments!

When I saw the picture, that is exactly what I thought of. Alyssa used to fall asleep on my chest all the time. Great memories. ❤

That’s one of the reasons we love to be mothers, isn’t it?
