Falling from the heavens, like rain
These colors that paint the skies
Auroras, the likes of which you’ve never seen
And, oh, how my heart does sigh
Drizzled colors, of purple and green
And a glint of white, to surprise
Such wonder, I have never seen
And I thank God, for my two eyes
Its brilliance awakens the darkness
As I look up, with high regard
I, the sky watcher, beguiled by the light
Such a beautiful sight for this bard

I used to see them when I was stationed in North Dakota. They were faint, but beautiful. ☺❤

Beautiful Dorinda! Have you ever seen the northern lights?

No, Julie, but it’s in my bucket list!! 😃. Have you?

Yes, but only so faint that they were barely noticeable. It was still amazing though. I’d love to see them blazing like in this photo one day. 😊

That’s “on” not in although I suppose it could be in a bucket, too lol. I hope you get to really see them soon!
