She carries a heart, laden with woe
Across poppy fields, her burdens, in tow
Flanked by spirits, who shine in the night
Casting an ethereal, celestial light
She quickly turns away, head tucked in her hood
Fearing the demons have found her, for good
But these unworldly creatures, are merely her guides
To the realm where they dwell, on the heavenly side
And deep in her soul, she believes it’s elsewhere
Then she realizes, now, she’s her own cross to bear

Huh 😢 I am reposting to my facebook page.
My hearts tears are overflowing,
For myself, for anyone’s heart who feels connected to this.
Thank you for expressing what “we” feel my friend 😢

I keep praying one day I won’t have to write things like this… ❤

It could have been darker, but I wanted to make sure the point came across more than the darkness. Thank you! 🙂 ❤
