She is a natural beauty, with skin so fair
Her face reflects, in the water, where
The forest trees join her, in sweet repose
Though keeping an eye on her, lest she expose
The vulnerability, for just a moment or two
A vision of one, whose pain pulls her through
Never allowing the others, to find her like this
She keeps herself hidden, so near the abyss
Of water, before her, will she make the connection?
Is it really her, she sees, or merely nature’s reflection?

I tend to write a lot, then search forever for the right picture. Sometimes I tweak the poem/prose to match the photo. this time, the picture chose me first 🙂 Thanks so much, Sarah!!
