Like a deck of fifty two
dealt haphazardly across
a felt table, you anted
your chips and caused
me to fold under your
skilled hand, shuffling
the Queen of Hearts
against the King of Spades
you fooled me into
believing I had the upper hand
when all I had was the Joker.

I actually disliked this song by him LOL, maybe that’s why I wrote the poem. 🙂
