It was quite the extravagant fuss
In fact, it was superfluous
To invite all the neighbors
To witness the labor
Then stand around and discuss
But Gina wanted it this way
All the ladies, at once, had their say
Name her Lucy, Meg or Tilly
But, oh no, never Willy
We just can’t wait for this day!
The men couldn’t stand anymore
Led their ladies right out the front door
Making one big to-do
Leaving Gina so blue
And angry at Jim, to the core
Poor Jim, he could feel the doom
As the due date did solemnly loom
Can you imagine the noise?
When they found out it was boys!
Not one, but two, baby boom!

I wrote them this way so that I could try and get some whimsical ones done myself, but I’ve been so busy with school that I just haven’t had the time or the energy to devote to them.
