Nighttime lets me flourish
I stand alone, under the moon
Looking up, in wonder
I know I’ll find them soon
Brilliant, in the blackened sky
Fainter, at crack of morn
Lights of a million fantasies
In the evening sky, are born
I am covered in constellations
Bathing, in shining stars
Watching, as they sparkle
Like the sun, on a reservoir
Lights aglow above me
Tis Heaven’s chandelier
These are the ones, I know, in my heart
Will always, chase away my drear

Yep, that’s my leg. After an ultrasound to make sure I didn’t have a blood clot, they wrapped me in a knee immobilizer, called in a prescription for an anti-inflammatory , told me to follow up with my ortho and sent me on my way.
