Be careful how you touch them
How they look is quite deceiving
Nature has the strangest ways
To leave your senses grieving
That something, oh so beautiful
Can hurt you, with a single stroke
Stay away from the stinging nettles
For it’s pain, they shall evoke

When i was a kid, my grandfather — who could be mean — had me rub a leaf of it across the back of my hand. Some people!
