I’m exhausted, from all night excursions
The wine’s made me numb, from submersion
Quick, pour me another, I’m fading
This feeling is downright degrading
Perhaps, I should lay off the liquor
Since it goes to my head, much quicker
I usually do things quite dumb
Wonder what it is I’ve become
Can’t remember, the next day
What I did, anyway
I’ll probably do it again
To which there is no end
This wine is divine, and now it’s all mine
In fact, it’s my new favorite friend

Aww. What a pitiful sell out! A life for wine. Sad. Good poetry, however. 😀

LOL… hope he learned!! Thank God, nothing harmful happened. But after I heard some more stories around that evening/night I know that his army of guardian angels is still with him….

I’m doing ok. The weather’s been a bit warmer, for now, so that’s a good thing. but winter is far from over! How is it in your neck of the woods?
