In her thoughts, she could see only him
Hear the sound of his voice, a whisper
Sending shivers through her body
Her unassuming, unpretentious ways
Giving delight to his darkness
While deep inside of him, lurking
Where he found her most amusing
He would watch her from afar
Never close enough for her to feel
He was merely a distant pleasure
In the madness of her mind

Well I’m glad you are, at least one of us will be! Lol… I’ve decided I’m not going to stick to any sort of dedicated schedule this month like I had originally planned. My body isn’t cooperating right now and so I’m just going with whatever comes and not trying to stress myself out further. Think I just need a break from the norm. I hope your mother is doing better. And I hope you are too! Glad you’re staying committed to this. It makes me want to try harder myself. π

If I don’t stay committed to something, I will be committed!! It’s a great diversion from all the stress of every day, although my pieces are rather dark. Always an indication of how my life is going. Mom is getting there. I, however, am going through more difficult times. It’s probably the stress. I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. do take care of you! β€

Thanks so much, Kevin!! How did your show go? Sorry I’m so late in asking

It went great! The audience was really fun. 200 people in the crowd. And the energy was electric. It was me (opener), the feature and the headliner. Everyone did great. Honestly, I will always remember that evening as a big moment for me regarding my stand up. Thanks so much for asking! (PS. Just posted a poem on my blog. Hope you – my poet friend – enjoy it).

Doing a show in NY will be a homecoming. Most of my family and close friends live in that region. I will certainly let you know! π
