Covered in icy tears,
Droplets, clung to
My cheeks, held on
For dear life, the heart
Of my body, chilled
To the marrow, breathless, idled
My arms, cold against the air
Yet, the winter warmed, as
Spring, emerging, awakens me,
Until, once again, I’m alive

It is amazing how the first warmer and brighter rays of sun remind us of how much we missed spring! Beautiful how you told it from a different perspective!
