I’m trying to decide just what to do

Where will this staircase lead me to?

Should I climb the steps, in shadowed light?

I hesitate, observe the flight

Perhaps I should take the door instead

No, I think I should listen to my head

And take neither the stairs nor passageway

We’ll wait between them, my pet, all day

Pass the time, while we’re kept down here

Nothing, you see, is perfectly clear

Waiting around, flanked by indigo beams

Locked in the caverns, of dungeonous dreams
