Let me take you by the hand
Follow me, across the sand
As the sunlight warms your face
I’ll bring you to my hidden place
Where none can see the fire glow
And we can feel the passion grow
Away from others, together, alone
To discover what was once unknown

Under a bridge, in the forest deep
Lives a creature, in his earthen keep
When sun shines bright upon the day
It’s a promise that he’ll stay away
For if he looks, it has been known
He will surely turn to stone
But when moonlight shows about this place
That is when you’ll see his face
A mythical creature, you cannot cajole
For he is the forest’s menacing troll

Against azure colored skies
Night creeps in with silence
On the whisper of a sigh
Emerald earth shades to black
As the heavens hold the day
Sunlight fades away with time
