She floats through the Wood
Ethereal, Divine
Evergreen in White

Blanketing the Ground
With a Touch of her Hand
Creating a Wondrous Sight

Coating the Earth
With a Snow that is Pure
Celestial and Light

Casting Darkness Away
She Enlightens the Day
And Illuminates the Night

Moonlit Night, the Owl Flies
A Messenger in White
Talons Grasp the Silken Scroll
That Shimmers in the Light

She Watches as he Takes his Flight
Will he Return Perchance
As Winter’s Cold Envelops her
She Turns for One Last Glance

A Secret Held, She’s Hidden Long
Known to the Snowy Raptors
She’ll Feel no Fervor in her Soul
Until his Heart she Captures

Winter’s first snow fell
Blanketing the earth

The cold of the burning sun
Offered us no warmth

Only the closeness of our bodies
Intertwined with each other

Only the heat of our passions
Could melt away the icy crystals
