I
Am one.
A simple
Yet complex root.
With new beginnings,
I plant my feet, and grow.
The mighty earth, under me
Nourishes my very being,
Nurturing my heart, however brief;
Until the moment I breathe my last breath
And I become one with the earth, again
Mixed in the soil, of a thousand years
Below the ground, where I once stood
Strong, and unwavering, though
At times, I would quiver
Much like leaves, in spring
Wishing for life
To return
Within
Me

To create a life, in which happiness abounds

A person must always strive to find balance

Much like a tree, its trunk, rooted to the ground

Working on your own solid foundation, is gallant
