Hear the song I sing for thee
As waves crash round your ship
Destruction pulls you closer to
Notes coming from my lips
A siren’s voice
A whisper, a trill
Sends you spiraling
Downward, faster still
With tattered sails
You fight my call
Alas, there is nothing
As mighty ships fall

Caressing the leaves
With its lullaby
It swirls about
A leaf unbound
And sends it spiraling

The days grow short
And the weather colder
And time goes by

That went astray
Another season
