Angelic Being in Prismatic White
Play the Harp of Golden Light
Carried upon Ethereal Wings
Gently strumming Gossamer Strings
Music Maker Enchants in Reprise
Melodic Tunes that Fill the Skies
With Joyous Song so Sweetly Played
By Celestial Fingers Gracefully Splayed

Perhaps what’s here before my eyes
Is just another artful guise
Shall I journey beyond the gate
Through bars of iron to seal my fate
Gargoyles guard the path before me
What lies inside must now restore me
Another passage to get me through
The final road that leads to you
And yet I second guess my chances
As the moon beyond the door romances
Reminding me to hasten pace
To see your kind and handsome face
I run to thee, my love divine
Our footsteps echo, intertwined
We step into a world brand new
You with me and me with you

Of Morning Sun Surrounding me
With a Hidden Seduction of Light
Beaming ever so Softly, Guiding me
Through Frosted Doorways of
Evergreens Glistening with Rime
Scattered Blankets laid Perfectly
Down along the Frozen Path
Warming my Journey to you

The time of day when work winds down
And businesses close around the town
When the clock ticks slowly minute by minute
And I’m not really sure if I’m actually with it
Til the midnight hour approaches my eyes
Awakens my mind and I don my disguise
When the words flow easily from pen to paper
And the only sound heard is the coffee maker
That keeps me going til the clock strikes four
Then reality invades as sleep shuts the door
