She read the words
Unaware
Of what they said
She looked for an answer
Unaware
Of the question
She turned away
Unaware
He was there

25 Wednesday Jun 2014
Rising up from
Tall majestic trees
Stretching into the air
A swirl of white
Arms wide open
Grasping the sky
Taking over the blue
Reaching out to the day

24 Tuesday Jun 2014
Sitting by the window
Watching the rain fall
Cleansing the earth
And my mind
Clearing the cobwebs
From an always cluttered space
Making room for a new expanse
Claiming my mind
As I sit by the window
Watching the rain fall

Liquid ice sparkles
Gentle ripples embrace you
As you sink further down
Into the cooling waters
Washing away the smudge of the day

Pour me another
The wicked elixir
Coating my palate
Blurring reality
The golden colors
Soaking through my pores
Intently causing
A sense of ethereality
Standing up
The ground gives way
And I float
Into indifference
