Colors line this path I take

Brilliant, in their earthly wake

Leading me to time, serene

Surrounding me with beauty, seen

In wondrous ways, upon the land

This sight, that truly is so grand

Where in the distance, sunlight beams

Of possibility, hope and dreams

Keeps me steady, on my way

As I take in, the light of day

That lets me walk this mighty trail

O’er the top, I cannot fail

Fence posts mark the border

From which I mustn’t stray

The winding path before me

Will lead me on my way

*

Shaded by the hush of trees

Rustled gently by a breeze

*

Where I can wander on the hills

Until the days when I grow old

A journey off the guided path

To wrap myself in gold

Walk the Path Beside me
The Gate of Love awaits
No Longer are we Parted
We’ve come to Find our Fate

Moonlight Shines beyond us
A glowing Orb of White
Guiding us along the Course
A Promise of the Future, Bright

We Journey forth, just you and I
Our purposeful Endeavor
As Night falls Round
Without a Sound
Two Hearts as one, Forever

The light dims
Sounds of the night
Envelop the land
Echoing over tall trees
And small creatures
Tucking themselves in
As the sun sets
And the moon glows
Over empty trails
That rest upon the ground
Awaiting the rush
Of a new day’s dawn
