I drift

Into the clouds

Thoughts linger like the mist

Early morning wakes, yet I

Continue to sleep

Aware and unaware,

Ascending, descending

Lost in the turbulence of life

Wondering where I belong

Seeking answers

To questions never asked

Finding solace in the unknown

For there I am free

Untethered, no stigmas

Unchained to reality

Unprovoked by the demons

That caress my heart

I dream, still

Afloat, while sunlight fades

And the skies weigh heavy

I know of only one place

Where I can breathe, so

Blissfully into oblivion

I drift

It’s funny how things happen, how oblivious I am to my surroundings, and who I am, until I hit that proverbial brick wall and wonder why all I had done just faded away. She reminded me often of that. I don’t think I ever forgave her. After all, wasn’t it she who taught me how to hide my feelings, how to disappear into oblivion.

disgust-clipart-smiley_disgustedFor the past several days, I have been commenting on blogs, etc, and disappearing into oblivion.  Not spam, not trash, OBLIVION!!  I’m tired of fighting with this on a constant basis.  Please forgive me if I do not comment on your blog, because how would you even know??!!.  Just know that I am reading and hoping WordPress finds an answer to  whatever issue they’re having now….sigh

They don’t know which way is in nor out
With zombie-like stares they wander about
Blocking the way with their meaningless route
With others just like them. they’re truly devout
Lost in a World of Oblivion

Roaming around with their heads in the air
Looking for something yet not knowing where
Drive on the left side without even a care
Not really sure what has brought them there
Lost in a World of Oblivion

Sniffing out the luring smells
Like Pavlov’s dog when he hears bells
Looking like they’re caught in a magical spell
Forgetting this is not the place where they dwell
Lost in a World of Oblivion

Now anxious to leave with their treasures divine
Trying to cut ahead in the line
Thinking we care they begin to opine
I wonder if they’d like some cheese with that whine
Lost in a World of Oblivion
