I hear your voice, a whisper in the wind

Angelic, yet no words did you speak

Only my heart can feel you near

A gentle breeze, a subtle reminder

Like the fluttering of a butterfly’s wings

Gently floating through the flowers

Lavender, the scent, was heavenly

Our comfort, in this ill begotten world

The grip that holds me

As your arms enfold me

My heart goes out to those who have lost their lives to another senseless act of terror and to those injured in the bombing in Manchester.  To all my friends, be vigilant, be brave, be safe  ❤


I have started the lines, of so many verses

Regarding the destruction, from evil men’s curses

I’m not quite sure, if I’ve made any sense

The feelings inside me, are much too immense

So I will simply send love, to the other side of the pond

We stand strong beside you, from the here and beyond!
