sunbeams
The soft whisper

Of a silent hello

Filling my ears

Calling out to me

Letting me know

In this place filled

With so much pain

And confusion, that

You are still here

A comfort in my world

Until we meet again

In yours….

They cross the bridge, into the light

Blinded by the wondrous sight

That leads them to a better place

A sanctity, they can embrace

With golden rails, to guide their way

This final place is where they’ll stay

To live in peace, eternity

And leave behind humanity

For beyond the light that shines ahead

Lies the glorious promise of life, instead

Light blazes across the night

As God awakens the skies

Another soul makes its journey

Upward toward peace

And the clouds gather and weep

For those left behind

For George and Andy…RIP my friends

Once here, on this Earth

God had a greater purpose

On wings, you flew home

Golden angel, midnight light

Ethereal being, ever bright

Guardian of the heaven’s above

Cast your everlasting love

Upon the beings down below

Let them see your wondrous glow

Scattered softly from your hand

The light of God, across the land
