Whisper in the silent night
Of promises, of morning light
Talk to me in tender tones
Caress my ever aching bones
With words that speak of thoughts anew
Ones that call to me, from you
To guide me through the darkest days
Quietly, in compassionate ways
Your understanding heart, so dear
You speak the words my soul can hear
Yes! Whisper to me in the night
Of promises, of hope, of light

Thoughts intersected
Words, together, apart
The elite of the muses
Each teasing with ruses
Poetry falls from the start

Mysteriously speak
Opening up our hearts
Where the inner circle mingles
And words become tingles
Each poem a true work of art
From one to another
Like sister and brother

Wisps of white Gather
As I look Up to the Sky
Carelessly lingering
Clouds Drift slowly by
Yet this Cloud Stays longer
It’s not ready to Roam
Telling me someone
Watches over my Home
In the Shape of a Heart
Reminding me of
My Angel, Protecting
With Love from Above
