It’s Memorial Day weekend, here, in the states.  Since so many are away and/or  busy with family activities (including me), I have decided to share my photography for the next three days.  (I will still be doing Michelle’s prompts).  I hope you enjoy!

Posed ~ #MayWriting #poetry

Posed, she was a lady in waiting

Golden ruffles, gathered with grace

She stood there, impatiently waiting

With nary a smile on her face

Seems she’d been there for quite awhile

Surrounded by marble and flora

Hoping to catch a glimpse of him

And become his darling signora

But the hours passed by, still nothing

The man of her dreams didn’t show

So she went to bed, fully dressed

Using her frock, as a comfy throw
