Cloaked in clouds, so dark the night

Reveals an aura, burning bright

An orb which shines, upon the land

Once hidden, now, the master plan

Illuminating, you seek to find

What resonates within your mind

A secret, no one else shall know

Behind the ebony sky, its glow

Creates an image, another place

Is it still a man, or some other face?

Perhaps it’s Luna, the goddess, who waits

For you to join her, and seal your fate

Mesmerized by full moon light

Once flaxen haired, now turned to white

An empty boat in harbor waits

Is this her ill begotten fate?

Mist below her, hidden river

Limbs of flesh, begin to shiver

Standing, waiting, upon the pier

Still the boat does not draw near

Could this all be just happenstance?

Should she await another chance?

With a treasure map held in her hand

She seeks to find the Promised Land
