Invisible light, doth never shines
Darkness, from my window, pines

Call to me, I’ll venture far
Away, from every shining star

Caress me with your ebony skies
Blackened, let the spirits rise

Take this earthly pound of flesh
Into the dead of night, refresh

My demons, let them now escape
Into the shadows, we reshape

The visions of the humans, dreams
Replace them all, with mortal screams

Take them, slowly, through the gate
Fear not, mere mortals, do not hate

The pitch that pries you from the light
Take comfort, in the blackest night

For it summons you, with adjuration
To follow, into, eternal damnation

The melody in her head, ever so clear

Memories, of him, she once held dear

Musical pieces, her heart, so shattered

Lyrics of love, now torn up and tattered

He left her with nothing, but ivory keys

Her soul filled with nothing, but ebony

Out of tune songs, that play in her head

The words; he’d forgotten, he ever said
