Turn it up much louder

Let the power take control

The rhythm of your heartbeat

The essence of your soul

Dancing to the music

Getting lost inside each note

Wait!

How did the singer really know

Just what it was you wrote?

The Softness of the Breeze ~ A Love Lost – #RomanticTuesday

My love lies strewn about me
Flowers grace the lake
Each one of them now signifies
The vows we’d never break

Yes, we were bound together
In sickness and in health
It’s the love we shared between us
That signified the wealth

We spent the days in harmony
But our favorite spot grew dim
And that is when I truly knew
That you had gone to Him

You left my side too early
I did not understand
Why God would take you from me
That wasn’t what we planned

Yet, I will visit, quite often
Speak to you, under the trees
And you can whisper back to me
With the softness of the breeze

Sweet nectar of life

Ravenous in its hunger

Tastes eternity
