Darkened thoughts invade my mind

Seeking ground they cannot find

Circling round in a boundless daze

I am the keeper of this maze

Trapped between these walls of stone

No longer flesh, now merely bone

Left alone, never to be found

Lost forever on these grounds

Who shall come and save my soul…

Who shall come and make me whole…

A lonely Tear fell

From the Heavens above

Sent ever so Gently

From someone I Love

Friday Fantasy ~ Sunken Within Me

Floating in my dreams
A simple flower reminds me
Not all is as it seems
The past drifts far behind me

The days of love diminish
As the tides roll slowly by
Sorrow is my finish
When alas the flower dies

Sunken deep within me
In the treasure of my heart
The key that can begin me
Held closest though apart

Conceal the scars of a lovers scorn

Hide the sorrows of yesterday gone

Eclipse the light that pales my skin

One last breath from deep within

Envelop me with wings of gray

My fallen angel gone astray

Hold me now release my pain

Comfort me as sleep I feign

angel-1361413_960_720I journey out into the night
Reach my hands up to the sky
Run my fingers through the stars
And hear the angels sigh

They shine their light
From the heavens above
Eternally keeping watch
With their undying love

Ethereal beings
Kept close to our hearts
Till we meet them again
Ne’er to depart

Dedicated to dear friends and loved ones who have left this Earth much too soon. We all have angels watching over us….
