Spirits of the ancients

Lingering, searching

For the answers, never

Finding what they seek

Never seeking, what they find

When the dark rolls in

And swallows the light

I look for the answers

Oft found in the night

Seeking emotions

Finding the pulse

The heat of a moment

Seeking results

For the ebony sky

Sets my heart on fire

As it opens my soul

This, my one true desire
