She is the blush of a storm
Petals swirling, like a blizzard
Falling, endlessly down
Covering the ground with
Her delicate florid bloom

It trickles down my cheek

Old Man Winter Forgot
28 Saturday Mar 2015
Rising Rays of Golden Light
Their Warmth they do not Share
Frosted Blades of newborn Grass
Shiver in the Morning Air
Yes, Something here is Quite Amiss
Spring Weather this is Not
Someone please Remind Mother Nature
‘Cause Old Man Winter Forgot!
