This little tufted titmouse is my buddy. He will fly onto my patio and peek in the back door, and wait, for me to bring him a peanut 🙂

Harrowing screams, footsteps aflight
Shattering darkness, piercing the night
People running, ahead of the pack
Children crying, don’t look back
Fleeing from creatures, eyes aglow
Wolf like features, purely foe
Fast as you can, get away from this town
Devouring all, they will never back down
They never let go, no, they growl with delight
Eerily howling, under pale moonlight
