I wrote this after listening to Don McLean’s song, “Vincent”.  If you know the song, perhaps you’ll read the words as if the music is playing….

Darkness holds the night
Stars are hidden from my sight

Evil lies
In emerald eyes
Be wary of her meek disguise
She hides it well
This living hell
The hunger never dies

She must find
Else lose her mind
A victim to sate her need
His scent is near
The smell of fear
His body he must cede

So she may live
Though not forgive
The horror she inflicts
Night is done
And she has won
Her blood stained lips she licks

Hello Friends!

Oh how I’ve missed you all.  This crazy thing called life, well, it can get in the way sometimes.  But October is coming and that’s my favorite month.  I get to go all ghoulish and horrid, right up to the last day!  I can’t wait.  The brain is already churning out the macabre and there’s more where that came from!  See you soon!

watch, as
fire falls
from up above,
in the pitch of night.
Brightening dark heavens,
painting the sky; ambience
sets the mood for lovers below.
Nestled, beneath the stars, they embrace
as the heat continues to spark within

All was still, there was no breeze
Perhaps the storm had vanished
No rustling sound, heard from the trees
Be gone, they said, you’re banished
