If we focus on something we believe is wrong

We besmirch others, for their rightful opinions

Wouldn’t it be grand if we could all get along?

Perhaps, blot out the noise, from other minions

Au Revoir – #poetry

I no longer need this boat, to carry me on my way

I simply float on waters, under feathered clouds, gray

And yet there is this color, it shines, within the dark

One calling, aloud, my name, singing sweetly, as a lark

Who must be hiding in the trees, lining these waters, afar

I wonder, does he sing for me, or is he wishing me au revoir

As I glide about, in my boat, I see my lantern start to dim

Sailing, into the shining light, I leave behind, a phantom

Singing sweetly, from a limb

Love
Lasted
Forever
On silver sands
Hours spent talking
Of our dreams, desires
Without a care for the world
As if all else had disappeared
Capturing us in that cocooned space
Where lovers go, to forget about time

Said the bold, brave knight, riding his mighty steed

I shall bring this makeshift mace with me, into battle

Show my fidelity, to my kingdom, my queen, indeed

Horse couldn’t help but laugh, at his master’s prattle

Burping and Belly Flops – #poetry – #MarchWriting

What started as a normal dive

Ended with a heap of trouble

On his way down, off the cliff

Dan let out a huge air bubble

*

How was he to recover from this?

He needed to have another plan

And it better come to him quickly

The water was closing in, poor Dan!

*

Trying to make the best of it all

He flailed his arms wildly about

Hit the water, belly side down

Burped again, came up with a trout
