Life can be filled with such deadly temptations

Each one promising much more than the other

So unless you’re ready for eternal damnation

Take heed, child, and listen, to your mother!!

Let’s soar to great heights, start an adventure

This life is ours, one that no one can censure

The New Year’s ahead, new paths, new horizons

As the sun sets west, tis our light that’ll be rising

Life could be as easy, as making a snowman in the yard

Or playing in the fallen snow, and skating on the pond

But somehow things are different, and life can be so hard

Just remember to keep living, in the now and far beyond

Every bauble on the tree, holds a special memory

Each one we carefully hang, both round and square

It’s the wonder of the year, with loved ones ever near

All these Christmas treasures, we are sure to share

Santa’s got a scooter, he likes to call his motorcycle

Tosses the sack of toys, on the back, and off he goes

Lots of goodies on their way, to Leo, Jill and Michael

But, you have to wonder, what happens if it snows?
