If we were to take the daredevil approach to life

Cast off, into the future, without any hesitation

We may not be prescient, though, we can strive

To build a better place, for our children’s foundation

Human beings try to articulate their angry thoughts

When contacts are made, across this Earthly place

But still, we are not penitent, fearful, nor fraught

Even though we’ve made a mess, of our living space

The only absolute is, we are all of different face

At times, I see my life, caught, in a labyrinthine knot

In an instant, my thoughts are twisted, tightly furled

I should be filled with scorn, but happily, I am not

I’m content, just to live, in my own little world
