Hello friends.

I’ll be taking a break from blogging. I’m not sure how long. My mom fell this morning and broke her clavicle. We’re still deciding what course of care needs to be taken.

Please keep my seat warm…

Be well and hope to be back soon.

#RomanticTuesday ~ Burn – #poetry #love

Feel my warmth against your skin

A fire simmers from deep within

A heart, surrenders, to a touch

Lips against lips, in a silent hush

Two body’s crash in a single burn

Flesh upon flesh in a single turn

Feelings that can no longer hide

Release this yearning ache inside

Passionate cravings, fuel for the fire

Two become one in heated desire

Many words

Bound, silent pages

Emotions

Rising up

Unable to keep quiet

They speak in volumes

Poison Ivy – #poetry #garden

Fifty plus years went by, without a hitch

Until last week, that son of a bitch gun

Old ivy, the poison of every man’s Eden

Roams, about my garden, with freedom

I must’ve pulled it, along with the dead

So, of course, it reared its ugly head

Made me itchy, scratch, scratch, scratch

Twas kind of dumb, as more did hatch

But, now, I’m on the mend, thank God

Think I’ll stay away, from that patch of sod
